Trade waste in Brisbane

In Brisbane, Ipswich and the surrounding council areas, trade waste discharges are managed by Urban Utilities. Grease trap condition and FOG levels in discharge are a common focus of trade waste approvals.

Biological treatment supports, but does not replace, your pump-out schedule and trade waste obligations. Results depend on loading, temperature and dosing, and we measure them against your site's own baseline.

FAQ

Aquativ in Brisbane: common questions

Does Aquativ service Brisbane?

Yes. Aquativ supplies and supports biological treatment programs for homes, businesses and industrial sites across Brisbane and South East Queensland.

Does biological treatment replace grease trap pump-outs in Brisbane?

No. Pump-outs are still required under trade waste rules. Biological dosing digests fats, oils and grease between pump-outs to reduce odour and build-up.

How do I get started?
