Reliable biological maintenance across aged care facilities
Reliable maintenance for laundries, kitchens and resident-care wet areas.
Aged care facilities can't afford plumbing surprises. A planned biological program supports kitchens, central laundries and resident wet areas so issues are headed off before they become disruptions to care.
The challenge
- Central kitchen grease trap loading
- Laundry drains carrying lint and biological soils
- Resident bathroom odour control
Our approach
- Scheduled dosing program built around housekeeping routines
- Coordinated grease trap and drain treatment
- Site induction for maintenance staff
What good looks like
- Fewer reactive maintenance events
- More consistent amenity for residents and staff
Inside a grease trap: where biology does the work.
A grease trap separates fats, oils and grease (FOG) from wastewater by letting solids settle and FOG float, so cleaner water can pass through to the drainage system. Biological dosing works on the FOG and sludge layers between pump-outs, slowing build-up and keeping the trap operating closer to design.
