Right-sized biological dosing for smaller venues

Smaller-format venues with consistent FOG and drain demands.

Smaller cafes and QSR sites still produce serious FOG and food residues - just in a smaller footprint, often with a smaller trap. Right-sized biological dosing keeps that trap healthy between scheduled services.

The challenge

  • Undersized grease traps relative to covers per day
  • Drain odour in customer-facing areas
  • Limited back-of-house storage for chemicals

Our approach

  • Compact dosing format matched to site size
  • Weekly drain treatment routine for floor wastes

What good looks like

  • Healthier grease trap operation
  • Customer area free of recurring drain odour
How it works

Inside a grease trap: where biology does the work.

A grease trap separates fats, oils and grease (FOG) from wastewater by letting solids settle and FOG float, so cleaner water can pass through to the drainage system. Biological dosing works on the FOG and sludge layers between pump-outs, slowing build-up and keeping the trap operating closer to design.
